A Good Neighbor
An effective way to introduce others to Jesus is by sharing Gospels in our local communities. Jennifer, from Belton, MO, learned about the League on Facebook and she reported,
“I decided to order 30 Gospels of John to participate in the 2019 Summer Challenge. I joined all the PTL Members
who touched 500,000 people in local communities
across the USA with pocket Gospels.”
Jennifer went out with a couple of her neighbors to share God’s Word door-to-door. One man told them that he recently had a stroke. Jennifer asked,
“Could we pray for you?”
He told them his name is Vincent. After praying, Jennifer felt the Holy Spirit prompting her to hand him a Gospel of John. He took the booklet and she relates:
“I asked Vincent if anything we said today spoke to him and
he replied that yes, the book of John did.”
The man disclosed that the book of John spoke to him because even though he goes by his middle name Vincent, John is actually his first name and he doesn’t usually tell people that. Jennifer let him know that the feeling was a way of God speaking to him and telling him how much he is loved! John Vincent was very blessed and so was Jennifer. She decided to continue witnessing and sharing Gospels in her neighborhood.
