A Vision for the Next Season of the READ CARRY SHARE® App

As September draws to a close, we are humbled to look back on what God has done through the READ CARRY SHARE® App over the past year, and prayerful as we look forward to what is yet to come.

Looking Back

In the last 12 months, nearly 7 million people have downloaded the READ CARRY SHARE® app. Together, they have read, listened to, or watched an estimated 50 to 60 million chapters of God’s Word. Month by month, by God’s grace, the number of people engaging with Scripture has steadily grown.

Looking Ahead

In the next 12 months, we are praying that 16 million more people will download and experience God’s Word. Currently, an average of 36,000 people each day encounter the words of Jesus in text, audio, and video. By this time next year, our goal is to reach up to 76,000 people daily.

Looking Up

These goals are only possible through God’s leading. That is why we are seeking His guidance as we prepare to launch READ CARRY SHARE® App 2.0 in the months ahead. Here are some of the exciting upgrades in development:

  • Accessible to almost all people: More languages are being added so that over 93% of the world’s population can access the app in their own language.

  • Available worldwide: In addition to Apple and Google stores, the app will expand to seven more app stores globally, reaching over 90% of the planet.

  • Built on secure foundations: The app will move to censorship-resistant servers used by other trusted ministries, ensuring stability and safety.

  • Connecting seekers to the Body of Christ: A new community feature will help connect users with other believers, partner ministries, and local churches in their own language and region. Someone who begins by reading the Gospel of John can grow in discipleship, join Christian community, and begin sharing with others.

This is a fuller vision of salvation, discipleship, and multiplication.

This is a big project, a Kingdom project. We expect challenges, both technical and spiritual, as we press forward. Our timeline is bold, aiming for all these upgrades to be in place within the next six months. Please join us in prayer for God’s protection, provision, and blessing as this vision takes shape.

In the last 30 days alone, the top countries downloading the app include:

  • India – 456,243 downloads (WWL Rank: 11)

  • Bangladesh – 189,805 downloads (WWL Rank: 24)

  • Pakistan – 85,962 downloads (WWL Rank: 8)

  • Nepal – 46,685 downloads (WWL Rank: 54)

  • Congo (Kinshasa) – 40,695 downloads (WWL Rank: 35)

Many of these nations are among the most challenging places in the world to follow Christ, according to the Open Doors World Watch List. And yet, the Word of God is reaching hearts and lives there every day.
