Accelerating the Gospel: God Is Moving Through Our App

When we first began sharing Scripture digitally, we knew there would be moments when the impact felt almost unstoppable — like what pilots call G-forces, that thrilling power of acceleration. Today, we’re feeling those same Gospel forces at work!

God is moving powerfully through our digital outreach, and the results over the past few months have us in awe. Here’s what He’s doing through The League around the world.

The Momentum Continues

From October–November to December–January, growth has been steady — and strong:

  • App installs surged by 19% — from 1.7 million to 2.15 million — with only a 7% increase in advertising.

  • Chapters read climbed 11%, from 132,590 to 147,096.

  • Ready to Respond decisions — people indicating they’re ready to follow Jesus — also rose 11%, reaching 19,148.

Behind those numbers are real people encountering the living Word of God — many for the first time.

The Gospel in Motion

We continue to see incredible openness in regions where the Gospel has traditionally faced barriers. India, Bangladesh, Sudan, Nepal, and Pakistan remain in or near the global Top 5 for app downloads, while movement across the 10×40 Window is accelerating:

  • Africa has seen a 58% increase in downloads (Ethiopia and Algeria have now entered the top 10!).

  • The Greater Middle East has grown 28%, with Afghanistan now joining the top nations downloading God’s Word.

In just the last 60 days, that means:

  • Around 39,000 more people each week are downloading the app.

  • Over 1,600 more Gospel chapters are being read weekly.

  • And most exciting of all, about 210 more people every week are saying they are ready to respond to the call of Christ in their lives.

The Road Ahead

We’re especially seeing a remarkable trend — more and more people in Afghanistan are discovering our PTL app. The chart our team is tracking shows God stirring hearts in ways that only He can.

Next week, eight ministry partners will gather with us to begin shaping our new Discipleship Community feature — a way for people who encounter God’s Word digitally to grow together and walk the journey of faith in community.
