Christ In The Gallery
Being primarily a self-taught artist who opened an art and frame gallery to show and sell his realistic watercolors, acrylics and photography, Tommy encourages others to see God through his art and uses every opportunity to tell people about Christ. Tommy confided,
As a Christian, I use my God-given artistic talent
as a witnessing tool to spread the Gospel of Christ
and I share the pocket Gospels of John to give people God’s Word.
Recently two young salesmen visited his art gallery. After looking around the gallery for a bit, the men engaged in conversation with Tommy and began exchanging some small talk. Tommy revealed,
As we talked, I found out that one of the men
had not gone to church since childhood
and other one had attended church very little.
With their permission, Tommy started sharing the Gospel with them. He offered each of the men a pocket Gospel with the cover, “It’s Never Too Late”. Tommy remembered that the men listened intently to the Gospels as he shared with them. He recounted,
As I saw that they were taking the Word of God into their hearts,
I asked the men, right there in the Gallery,
if they would like to pray to receive Christ… and they did!
