Reaching the Unreached: A New Chapter for 2026
God is writing an incredible story through The Pocket Testament League, and you’re a part of it! Around the world, lives are being changed by the power of God’s Word, and this year we are stepping out in faith to reach even more people who have never heard the name of Jesus.
In 2026, The League is praying and working to reach four new people groups across four new languages, each considered unreached for Christ:
-
Azerbaijan: Among 10 million people, 96% unreached, with virtually no Gospel access and a high level of persecution.
-
Mongolia: In the capital region of Ulaanbaatar, where 93% of the 3.4 million population remains unreached.
-
Kazakhstan (Uyghur people): In the southeast near Almaty, roughly 300,000 souls with almost no Christian witness.
-
Moldova (Bulgarian-speaking): The Taraclia district, home to 69,000 people with little to no evangelical presence.
Each of these represents more than statistics; they are individuals longing for hope. Millions who may never have held a Bible or heard who Jesus truly is.
This vision is just the beginning. Together, with prayer and partnership, The Pocket Testament League is believing God to introduce 20 million people to Jesus in 2026 around the globe.
A Growing Movement Across Eurasia
Our trusted partner Pavel, whom you may remember from a PTL Field Report, is working tirelessly to help The League take the Gospel to those who need it most across Eurasia.
God is opening new doors, and we are eager to celebrate the stories that will follow because His Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
Stories of Transformation
Every story reminds us why The League exists: to share the Word of God so that lives can be changed for eternity.
“I Came Looking for You”
Peter, a Mission Eurasia evangelist, was handing out Gospels at a train station in Novosibirsk when a young woman approached him. She explained that her friend had met Peter two weeks earlier, received Christ, and told her to “find the man who could tell her about God.”
That day, holding a black Gospel of John, Katerina opened her heart and placed her faith in Jesus. Two friends, two new believers, because someone shared the Gospel.
“Sharing Hope One Ride at a Time”
Maxim, a taxi driver and follower of Jesus in Siberia, uses every ride as an opportunity to share faith. One day, a passenger revealed she was battling cancer. As tears filled her eyes, Maxim gave her a Gospel booklet and prayed for her right in his car. He later shared, “Even in the hardest moments, God opens doors for people to come to Him.”
“Fishing for Souls on an Icy Day”
Vaisily, another evangelist, was sharing Gospels on a freezing day when he met a young man heading to the river with an ice drill. Snow fell as Vaisily opened a Gospel of John and shared about Jesus. The man, Sasha, prayed to receive Christ on that icy riverbank. With a smile, Vaisily encouraged him, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people!”
These are just a few reflections of what God is doing through His people and His Word.
You make this mission possible. Through your prayers, your partnership, and your passion for sharing God’s Word, people across Eurasia and beyond are encountering the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
Together, let’s continue pressing forward until all are invited.
