1 Corinthians 10:11
These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.

Pretty self explanatory isn't it? The warnings have been written in Scripture, and yes we will all slip once in a while, which is our human nature but when Holy Spirit nudges our conscience that we have slipped, then we are able to trun back and confess our sin and repent. God is faithful to all who do their best to walk according to His desire. 1Jn 1:9  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Amen Lloyd you expressed this very well, there are many warnings through out Gods word. And with all these warnings it comes down to one word Repentance. We are living in the times of Great Warnings. Be Blest as the Gospel of Jesus Christ touches someone today and everyday.

If you want to find out if something is "correct", a good place to look is the Bible. Even when the children fail and do not follow God, we can see their mistakes and seek to obey God.
