I believe this is a prophetic verse, one of the greatest promises connected with the life of Moses is the promise to raise up a prophet like Moses. And God can never break a promise. (Stephen speaking here) Acts 7: 37 "This is the Moses who told Israelites, God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your Own people. And Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of that prophecies. Through the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, made atonement for our sin.

So true, Peter. It is amazing how God calls forth, or sets an example of His plan, and then, when He knows the time is right, He fulfills His plan or prophecy. Moses was a great leader, and yet only a glimpse of the leader that Christ would be. This has been a tiring day Peter, with families coming together for Joan's brother's wake and visitation this evening. May the Lord continue to bless and encourage you brother Peter. :-)

No one was found greater than Moses because no one is above the law. Not until Jesus came. He came not under the law but of God and from God. He overcame death to give us life.
