Titus 2:11
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.

Key word Grace, that offers Salvation to all people. Gods Grace is an action, a result of Gods stead fast love, compassion, and mercy, an unconditional acceptance that is unlike human Love. The Grace of God is Free, Romans 3:24 and all are justified Freely by His grace through the Redemption that came by Christ Jesus. and its Eternal 2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a Holy Life- not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and Grace. This Grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. As I have stated recently in other remarks on God's Grace> Gods Riches At Christ Expense.

For it is by Grace we are saved through Faith, and this is not from yourself it is the Gift of God.

You covered that one well, Peter. I nearly chose that verse as well but decided to move on and ended up with the last verse. I like that portrayal of grace, as that is exactly what it is, for those who have or will receive His gift. Be encouraged and strengthened by His word Peter, as once again we approach the weekend. :-)

Titus 2: 11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Paul is telling us here that God makes salvation available to everyone that will receive it. 2 Peter 3 tells us that God wishes that none should perish but ALL would come to eternal life; and those of us that have the blessed hope of heaven and seeing Jesus face to face, and should be looking for it. Looking for it doesn't mean we just hang out doing nothing while we wait for His return. Jesus told us in Luke 19, in the parable of the talents to occupy to He comes, working for His Kingdom, sharing how people can receive the free gift of eternal life. When Jesus came the 1st time, they were expecting a lion to come set up His Kingdom and get them out from under the iron fisted rule of the Romans, aka a political solution. They didn't receive Him because they didn't understand the dual prophecies in the Old Testament. When Jesus comes the 2nd time, He's coming as a lion. The church has watered down His diety and power with a lovey dovey, feel good, no judgement gospel so much, that they're gonna be looking for a lamb, and will be deceived just like the Jews. Of course not everyone in church is a Christian and they'll be the ones deceived. The TRUE church that's regularly spending time with God, won't be deceived, because it's not possible, Jesus said so in Matthew 24. The mind control and deception is ramping up, and we need to be about our Fathers business, always keeping our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Papa God, You said in Ezekiel 18 that You take no pleasure in the death of evil people. Please pour Your spirit out on this world that eyes, ears, hearts and minds will be open for repentance and salvation, that none should perish, but all should come to eternal life, in Jesus name, Amen

There is NO one who cannot be saved BUT, it is each ones personal choice when they are presented with the truth, whether they receive that truth or not. Some are so caught up in their own beliefs or religion that only a revelation from Holy Spirit will turn them around. Lord, I pray that you bring the revelation of Christ to those who have not heard, whether that be by one of us or by Holy Spirit, through dream or vision. Lord, we know Your return is relatively close, and that it is Your desire that none should perish. Help us Lord, by opening peoples spiritual ears and eyes that they would accept Your truths. Amen

Amen Lloyd. I have a family member who does not believe. I pray constantly that God would draw her near to him and her eyes would be opened and her heart would accept him.

I am with with you, Patty, as I have several family members who have no relationship with God or the church and I have been praying for years that God would awaken them. They are genuinely nice people, which may be a lot of the problem, as they think they are good people but good people don't go to heaven, only saved people make it. Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God bless you, and Happy New Year, Patty...!!!

God's grace is offered to everyone - something we all must keep in mind as we go through our days. Someone may not live the way we do or dress the way we do but to God, we are all the same.

The grace of God offers us salvation through his only begotten son Jesus Christ. It teaches us right from wrong and "to say No to ungodliness and worldy passions." As human beings why are we so slow to accept this great gift? A gift that no one else can give! why are we so slow to accept right over wrong? Has not God given us grace and salvation.
