Deuteronomy 2:34
At that time we took all his towns and completely destroyed them—men, women and children. We left no survivors.
Lloyd S.
Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
We see through this chapter, that as the Israelites were obedient to the commands of the Lord, that He gave them victory over the territories He had chosen for them. They passed through the territories He had not granted to them to inhabit, and when Sihon, king of Heshbon resisted, the Lord gave His people the ability to wipe them out completely. This shows us that obedience to the Lord is of utmost importance, and draws His favor.

You nailed it with your insight to this verse Lloyd, when you choose to Obey The Lord He will bless you. He always provides favor to His listeners and followers. You have big list of candidates running I see. Faithfully in Prayer for whatever happens tomorrow, brings us another day closer for the return of Jesus.

I realize that what we can read in minutes, might have happened over decades or longer, yet it still never ceases to amaze me at how quickly Israel would forget the blessings of God. Within a generation! May we never forget God's goodness; not in good times, nor in hard times.
