Deuteronomy 20:1
When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you.

John R. from Champaign, IL said:
So often God reminds us to not be afraid. We can trust our Father as we remember who He is and \what He has done for us. I am encouraged by the whole chapter. Not only can we be bold in serving Him, He knows where we are in the season of life and He make allowances for our current conditions and our future blessings.

This isn't just a promise for God's people going to war. This is God's promise for his people no matter what we are facing. We don't have to live in fear of the future. God has the future in His hands. We can rest in Him and in His promises. Thanks to Jesus Christ our future is glorious!
