Deuteronomy 20:11
If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and shall work for you.

Donna N. from Orlando, FL said:
10 When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace. 11 If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and shall work for you. 12 If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. 13 When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. 14 As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the Lord your God gives you from your enemies. 15 This is how you are to treat all the cities that are at a distance from you and do not belong to the nations nearby. 16 However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. 17 Completely destroy them--the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites--as the Lord your God has commanded you. 18 Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the Lord your God. This seems contradictory unless we understand Genesis 3, where God said her seed would crush Satan's head. From that point on, Satan believed if he could corrupt the seed, the Messiah couldn't come crush his head... so deceived, isn't he? In Genesis 6 we see where Satan was corrupting the seed by creating offspring with the women here on earth. it says it happened before and after the flood. The offspring of this unholy union were corrupted... giants. God said to wipe them ALL out. The Israelites didn't, and they became a thorn in their flesh. it's old Testament picture of a new Testament principle... make NO provision for the flesh... the ephesians 6 kingdom! They are wicked and if we give them an inch they'll take a mile. We're to cast them down and take them captive to the obedience of Christ at the thought level. Otherwise they'll set up a strong hold and be much more difficult to deal with. Papa God, forgive me for giving place to the enemy in my thought life. I Recognize, take responsibility, repent and fall out of agreement with thoughts and cast them down, in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You Jesus for setting me free, he whom the Son sets free is free indeed! Now give me the power and discernment to always submit to You and Resist the devil and he must flee. Show me someone to share the freedom I have in You, with someone who is bound by the lies of the enemy. let the words of my mouth and mediations of my heart beacceptable in Your site o Lord my Rock and Redeemer, in Jesus name, amen
