Exodus 10:28
Pharaoh said to Moses, "Get out of my sight! Make sure you do not appear before me again! The day you see my face you will die."

Lloyd S.
Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
Once again the Lord hardened Pharoah's heart and he threatened Moses. Again, this shows that the Lord is in control of all things, even Pharoah's reaction to this latest disaster upon his land. Lord, control my/our heart(s) so the I/we as believers in You desire to serve You, the only true and living God. Amen. Mat 22:32  "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?" God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
Again we see here as you stated, Our God is in control, and not even Pharoah with his threat against Moses can interfere with God's plan. Great that you got home safe, God's hand was upon you my brother.

Exodus10: 28-29  And Pharaoh said to him, Go away from me! Take heed to yourself; see my face no more. For in the day you see my face you shall die. 29  And Moses said, You have spoken well. I will never see your face again. God just brought 2 more plagues on Egypt in this chapter. First, it was a plague of locusts, that ate up all the crops, leaving the country looking as tho it had been ransacked by fire. The Egyptians prayed to a locust god for great crops and another god called Serapis, who was supposed to protect the great crops the locust god gave them. They, obviously weren't doing a very good job. Once again Yahweh God is attacking another of Egypt's false worship systems. A lot of critics claim these were natural phenomenon. Yes, they probably were, but with a supernatural factor. God told Moses when they'd start and they ended when Moses entreated Him for them to stop. Plus, these phenomenon happened only to the Egyptian's and not the Israelites. So, next, God brings on darkness so thick, it's palpable for 3 days. Then Pharoah calls on Moses and says, "uncle", and confesses that he's sinned. But it's not godly sorrow with genuine repentance, it's in sorry because it hurts. He tells Moses you can go worship your God, but he begins to qualify just who can and can't go and tries instilling fear of the wilderness. Like it's so safe there in Egypt being abused as slaves. But Moses doesn't back down an inch. So Pharoah, once again,  says, "no, get outta my sight. I don't wanna see you any more". Then, Moses obliges him, but the fat lady hasn't sung yet, and he'll be begging to see Moses soon. A lot of churches preach a, "accept Jesus and have a wonderful life", gospel, giving people the idea that they just need to, "add Jesus to their life", with no talk of repentance. Then, when the storms of life come along, they fall away, thinking God failed to give them that wonderful life. God never promised us a wonderful life. Jesus said, in this world you'll have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for I've overcome the world. God isn't our big sugar daddy in the sky, there for our every Beck and call. He's holy and righteous, and loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to live a perfect life we could never live, died a horrible death on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, that we could never pay, and rose from the dead to purchase a place for us in Heaven. You just need to admit you're a sinner and can't save yourself,  repent (change from doing things your way to God's way), receive this by faith, not head knowledge, but believing in your heart and confessing it with your mouth, and making Him Lord, Saviour and forever friend. Then you can trust God to bring you thru any and all trials realizing they're nothing compared to the glory of heaven. Papa God, thank You so much for the ability You gave us to have sites like these where we can study and share what You show us with one another, and that no matter what appears to be going on around us I've read the last chapter and You and those who love You win in the end. Hallelujah.

Pharaoh obviously became very bitter against Moses and the Israelites, even threatening to kill Moses. Amazing how hard hearted he he became rather than allow what was requested of him. What a price Pharaoh and the Egyptians will pay because of his hard heart. This reminds me of a lady I spoke with the other day, who because of things that had happened to her years ago, would not even talk about the Lord, as she blamed God for her past experiences. She blamed God for those difficult experiences, which were certainly heart wrenching but she would not even talk about what God could do for her through Jesus Christ. I pray for her now, hoping God will soften her heart.

Though not willingly, Pharaoh had to let the Moses and the Israelites go worship God in the wilderness. It happened as the LORD said it would. Remember how when Moses first demanded Pharaoh to let his people go worship the LORD but Pharaoh refused to let them go and made them work harder than before. God's purpose was to reveal his glory and power to the Israelites but also He intended the hardships to make the deliverance more effective, so that they never want to go back to Egypt. Unfortunately, when they were in the wilderness and facing different obstacles, many of them still complained and wanted to return to their place of slavery. Only when truly understand God's heart, then we will see how much love God has for all of us his children. Thank you Father for your great patience for all of us. Please forgive us our shortcomings and our doubts. Please help us to see and understand your will and purpose.
