Numbers 32:15
If you turn away from following him, he will again leave all this people in the wilderness, and you will be the cause of their destruction."

Lloyd S.
Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
Moses is warning the people, that if they do not follow the instructions of the Lord, given them by Moses, that they would end up as did those who came out of Egypt. They were disobedient to the Lord, wandered in the wilderness for forty years until those over twenty had died, that it would happen again. It is shown that it is not wise to disobey the commands of the Lord, or there will be a consequence that will certainly not be well for them, and they will be destroyed. 1Pet 2:13-14  Then be in obedience to every ordinance of men, because of the Lord, whether to a king as supreme, (14)  or to governors as sent by Him for vengeance on evildoers, but for praise on well-doers.

Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
You nailed this verse pretty well Lloyd, Moses didn't want the Promise Land lost to all the people again for their disobedience. Disobeying the Lord can lead to some harsh judgments. And another walk in the desert would have been devastating since they were that close in entering the Land Promised by The Lord. Again you back it up with scripture. Blessing and enjoy your Fall weather. 38 degrees here right now.

Remember what has happened! are you willing to risk the lives of everyone here? Do you want to stay in the desert another 40 years? Think about what you are asking!
