Key Phrase: "and you may be sure that your sin will find you out" Here we see sin is transgression of the Law. A sin my be safely hidden, but we know there is no sin that can be concealed from God. No one can escape punishment, God Himself is the only one who can pass judgement for sin. Proverbs 28: 13 Whoever conceals their sin does not prosper, but the one who confesses them finds mercy. Psalm 69: 5 You God know my folly, my guilt is not hidden from you.

Amen Peter. Our sin is always seen, if not by man, it surely is by God, for He misses nothing, and then you backed it up with two excellent Scripture verses. He was telling them, if you make vow to the Lord, keep it because you can not escape it. God knows everything and we cannot outrun our sin. Thank you Jesus for taking the cross in our place so we may come to you seeking forgiveness for our sins.
