Numbers 35:15
These six towns will be a place of refuge for Israelites and for foreigners residing among them, so that anyone who has killed another accidentally can flee there.

Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
Key word here: Refuge. Lets look at this from a Christian standpoint. There is a parallel between these cities of Refuge, and Jesus,is our place of Hope and Refuge. John 6:37 All those the Father gives me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never drive away.

Very well expressed Peter, and backed with Scripture. Jesus surely is our Hope and Refuge. Praise Jesus and the Father for that refuge. The Father gave and Jesus carried out being the sacrifice. I can't imagine the stress of the Father or Jesus, both gave tremendously. I cannot imagine giving my child to such horror to pay for someone else's crime. God bless and keep you, brother Peter. :-)
