It means that everything that is written in the Bible is just as important today as it was since the day it was written to help encourage us to endure each day until Christ returns for his Bride.

Well expressed, Peter. The Scriptures are so revealing, if only the entire body of Christ would study and digest their revelations. Be blessed and encouraged as you study His book, Peter. PS: bitter cold here tonight Peter, low of 1 degree predicted.

Many things that we read these days are filled with enticing and unclean thoughts, but if what was written in the past was meant to teach us and encourage us, then we should be reading more and more of what Paul describes so that it seems that we can't get enough and want to be filled with the Word of God continually and completely. Let the lessons we read bring peace and harmony throughout the world.
