Last week, the FBI called. Yes, you read that correctly. But this wasn’t a call of concern. It was a call of curiosity. They had taken notice of something unusual: our app. More specifically, they noticed where it’s being downloaded and how often.

Their question was simple: “Who are you, and why are people in one of the most restricted nations on earth downloading your app?”

The answer brings us to our knees in awe. Those people are quietly searching for Jesus. Many are meeting Him for the very first time through His Word on their phones. In Iran.

What’s Happening in Iran

  • In the last 180 days, nearly 150,000 downloads

  • In the last 90 days, more than 92,000 downloads

  • That’s a 59% increase even as Iran continues to shut down the internet.

Globally, we’re seeing an average of 250,000 downloads every week, with some months surpassing 1.1 million. The Gospel truly is moving with power.

Romans 1:16 reminds us:

“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”

And right now, we’re seeing that truth unfold in real time.

The Power of the Gospel

Through digital outreach, the Gospel is reaching places we cannot physically go. Borders may restrict people, but they cannot stop the Word of God. Quietly and powerfully, His truth is entering homes, landing on phones, and finding its way into hearts. Every single download represents a person — someone willing to click “install,” eager to read, and open to encountering God’s Word in a place where that decision carries real risk.

What’s Next

Very soon, new Community Features will launch in the app. These will allow seekers to begin walking this journey together. Our partners on the ground, including those ready to engage directly in Farsi, will be there to answer questions, offer encouragement, and guide individuals toward a deeper relationship with Jesus. Even as conflict and hardship unfold, God is already ahead of the story. He positioned the right partners, in the right language, with the right tools before any of this began. This is not about technology. It is about people meeting Jesus.

Why It Matters

When the FBI calls, it certainly gets our attention. But what matters most is what God is doing. He is moving. People are seeking. And the Gospel is reaching into places we could never go on our own. Every download is a testimony to His unstoppable power and to your faithful support in helping us carry His Word around the world. Light is pushing back darkness, one phone at a time.
