The Good News Shines On: God Is Moving Across America

While Easter weekend may be fading on the calendar, the light of the Good News keeps shining, especially here in the United States.

Some might look around and wonder: What is the spiritual condition of America today?

You hear different opinions.

  • Some say people are “over-evangelized.”

  • Others believe Americans are hostile to the Gospel.

  • Still others think people just aren’t interested.

But what we’re encountering tells a very different story.

Over-evangelized? Not at all. Most young people we meet are blank canvases. They might recognize the name “Jesus,” but they don’t yet know His story.
Hostile? Hardly. In a world so weary of anger, kindness opens hearts more than we realize.
Uninterested? No way. Many are spiritually curious, searching, comparing, and questioning. They want to know about Buddha, about Allah, and about Jesus. And we know that in the search for truth and peace, Jesus wins every time.

Across the United States, we’re watching God move in powerful ways.

In just the past six months, almost 700,000 people have been invited to meet Jesus through His Word. These invitations are not happening through large rallies or events. They happen one person at a time as someone hands a pocket-sized Gospel to a friend, or another person discovers it online and begins to read.

God’s work often unfolds in unexpected places. Consider this story:

“A few years ago, I found a Gospel of John sitting in a dressing room at a clothing store. I picked it up, read a few pages, and set it back down.

Years later, I returned to that same store and found myself standing in that same dressing room. Suddenly, I remembered that Gospel.

In that moment, I gave my life to Jesus.”

That person later joined The Pocket Testament League, sharing:

“The road hasn’t been without struggles, just like Jesus said, but I haven’t looked back. I’m closer to God now than ever before.”

A dressing room became holy ground. That is the power of God’s Word, meeting people right where they are.

We’re pressing forward and leaning in to reach more people across America. Our goal this year is bold: to invite over 2,000,000 people to meet Jesus in America.

And we would love for you to be a part of it.

Together, we can continue shining the light of the Gospel, one conversation, one invitation, and one Gospel of John at a time.

Because even as the holidays fade, the Good News never does.
