When the World Feels Loud, God Is Still at Work

If you’ve been watching the news lately, you might have felt the same swirl of emotions many of us have. From tensions in Minneapolis to breaking headlines out of Washington, D.C., and the winter storms that recently swept across our nation, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. The noise can be constant. The uncertainty, unsettling. And it feels like it’s everywhere.

But while the nation’s attention is drawn to the chaos, something much more significant is happening, quietly, steadily, and in ways that only God can orchestrate.

At The Pocket Testament League, we hold fast to this truth: God never wakes up and says, “Wow, I did not see that coming!” It may sound lighthearted, but it’s deeply true. Our God is not surprised by the headlines. He is not shaken by the weather. He is in control, and when we take a moment to look around, we can see His hand at work, even right here in the USA.

Lives Are Being Changed Every Day

Over just the past three months, League members across America have helped more than 185,000 people receive an invitation to meet Jesus. That’s over 2,000 invitations every single day.

Here are some beautiful highlights:

  • Top States: Texas (23,433), California (23,071), North Carolina (17,160)

  • Top Cities: King, NC (13,000); Dallas, TX (11,799); San Diego, CA (10,105)

Each of these numbers represents a person, a conversation, a prayer, a Gospel shared, a seed planted. In a world that feels uncertain, the certainty of God’s Word continues to bring peace, hope, and transformation.

Fixing Our Eyes Where They Belong

As we continue sharing His Word, we cling to Scriptures that remind us who truly holds the world together:

Hebrews 12:2 calls us to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.”

Isaiah 26:3 promises that “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on You.”

When our minds are fixed on Him, the noise of the world fades, and the peace of Christ takes its place.
