Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

Thirty-eight years passed from the time we left Kadesh Barnea until we crossed the Zered Valley. By then, that entire generation of fighting men had perished from the camp, as the Lord had sworn to them.

Wow is God in the details! He kept track of the 38 years and He kept His promise that the ENTIRE generation of fighting men had perished. I love to see the Bible come true to life just as He promised. one more proof to me that God can be trusted now and forevermore.
