Giving thanks to the Lord for all that he has done, even through difficult times give praise and thanksgiving, which Glorifies our Heavenly Father. Father God help me to be obedient through difficult times, and to keep my focus on Eternal Life.

Amen, Peter. And I ditto you prayer, brother in Christ. It seems the world becomes more worldly by the day, but God is still in control, and as you have said we need to keep our eyes on our Eternal Reward. God bless you as always.

Father in Heaven, i love to praise Your name with thanksgiving in my heart. i love to proclaim Your Holy name to both sinner and saint. The more i talk about You the more excited i am about Your love, mercy and plan of salvation. Father, please use me to make known of Your goodness and grace to everyone i come in contact with. Thank You for leading me to those that are searching for the Truth. May i never weary in well doing.

Whenever I go among people I know that the majority do not know God. Some try to please God by being "good", others by going to church and still others by reading the Bible - which is impossible to understand except by the Holy Spirit. Others don't know if He even exists and even cares about them. If I was absolutely convinced that a bomb was going to go off in Walmart at 12:00 today I would do everything in my power to get people out in time so why is it so hard to witness to people when I am convinced that Jesus is the only Way and if they don't know Him they will go to hell? God's Word says "give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name and make known among the nations what He has done - so let's do just that by handing out one testament at a time!

I agree with Lloyd, Sharon. It's fear of man. The Bible says that fear of man is a snare. I wrestle with it CONSTANTLY. Oh Lord, please deliver us from the fear of man, in Jesus name Amen

I received my order of Pocket Testaments yesterday. I gave three to a friend of mine to pass out. Then today I went to the hospital with the intention of giving one out but wasn't sure how to give it out as I didn't feel led to do so. We then went out for lunch so I left one for the waitress and left two in the waiting area. Any tips on how to give them out?

Sharon, sometimes it's just spiritual boldness. When you're talking with someone who you suspect may not know Lord Jesus as their Savior, ask them if they have received the Best Gift in life. Be excited and hand them a booklet and suggest they read it cover to cover. Just one suggestion. God bless, Sharon.

Thank you, Lloyd! Someone also suggested that I pray that God will prepare the hearts of those I approach.

This is great Sharon, i use questionnaire and ask if they know if they are going to heaven, then ask why God should let them into heaven. i then ask if i can share how i found out i was going to heaven. If they say no, i say, can i leave this with you. If i don't have time for that, i just say, God told me to give this to someone. i think you are the someone.

This is it! We proclaim God and tell people what He has done for me! The simplest testimony I have every read in the Bible still holds true today. He replied, "I do not know whether he is a sinner. I do know one thing--that although I was blind, now I can see." Each person that comes to Christ is a miracle. Every single testimony is different and God can use them to His glory. Just like what the blind man shared to them that asked, So we are to share with others what God has done for us!

Throughout this Psalm, he's giving praise to God as he remembers all the awesome things He has done. I think that's a good model for our life. My pastor asked a question: if all you had tomorrow was what you were grateful for today, what would you have? I have a gratitude list and it's chock full of all the things we, as Americans take for granted. By the time I get 1/2 way thru, I'm realizing just how blessed I am. If you have indoor plumbing and hot and cold running water, you have more than 90% of the rest of the world has. One of the greatest anti depressants I know of is a grateful heart. My definition of gratitude is a great attitude. Perhaps we should have a National Gratitude Day, what do you guys think?
