Deuteronomy 4:9
Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

This verse is such a good reminder to me to remember always His promises and pass them onto the next generation.

We must learn from our sin not just sweep it under the rug. We cant let in hold us from our God potential and keep us a slave to our past yet we must reflect on them grow stronger in Christ from them knowing he wants to push us into his promises. If we teach our children by reflecting on our own sin and mistakes then each generation should grow closer and closer to God. Fearfully now it seems we are growing further away as a nation from Gods plan and protection. I pray for our future generation that God may soften their hearts and draw them in.

I agree Angela. We must be the ones to share the Good News with the next generation. If not us then who?

The things of God can depart from your heart. There is only room for so many things in your heart. The cares of the world can choke out The Word. Guard your heart.

That is so true. If we are not careful we loose site of Gods plan and purpose and worldly drama takes over.

Yes Nancy we all need to get into the Word daily. Least we forget! We should all seek first the kingdom of God.
