Hebrews 1:14
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Mitchell D.
Mitchell D. from Bremerton, WA said:
Angels are our equal in serving a just and holy god. we are not to worship them or make them seem significant in any way but servants of the most high god. instead we are to make God seem holy and honorable, nothing else.

Philemon 1:9
yet I prefer to appeal to you on the basis of love. It is as none other than Paul—an old man and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus—
Mitchell D.
Mitchell D. from Bremerton, WA said:
Paul could have just said "Do this and do that" but following the example of Christ he used gentleness and love to win Philemon over to treating Onesimus like a brother not a slave. In this we should follow, to get the world to love Jesus we cant use brute force, but perused them by love.

Mitchell D. from Bremerton, WA said:
We are often kind when people are kind to us,its sad that we need it first but none the less. Because god was kind to us we are kind to others, because of his grace with filling others with the holy spirit we are kind and pray for others.so why be nice to that jerk u despise so much?because god was kind to you when u were just are mean.

Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.

When we are children we are taught what is right and what is wrong. here it tells us what is right and wrong in gods eyes. As i am a man this stands out to me. this tells me to control myself,my anger my sexuality etc. doing what i know is right, showing integrity and seriousness and showing people that say i am wrong that they are at fault purely by my life.

Titus 1:7
Since an overseer manages God's household, he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain.

Mitchell D. from Bremerton, WA said:
As Christians people look to us and see us as Godly people, although it may not be correct we are all "elders" to a sinful ungodly world. because of this we cannot live in sin, overbear people with religion or the law, we cant get angry fast and we cannot be violent and case sinful things. sadly this is the strotype for us but we need to change it, and fast as the world is falling away.

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
Mitchell D.
Mitchell D. from Bremerton, WA said:
We as Christians are to spread the gospel of Christ, that simple. But in these days people prefer a comforting lie over our beloved truth. people would rather lie and say "death is not near" then to prepare for death to come! Understandable seeing that living in blissful ignorance protecting our minds from madness is easier on the heart than seeing the despair before us. but we must rebuke those and encourage the ones that speak the truth. we should't punish but correct the ignorant within the love Jesus had for us because he was just as loving as we lied to ourselves.
