Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Hebrews 1: 13-14 But to which of the angels has He ever said: "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool"?[i] 14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? This is a direct quote from Psalm 110:1 The early church had a dangerous tendency to worship angels, and Paul told the Colossians in chapter 2 vs 18, that they shouldn't let anyone cheat us out of our reward by taking delight in our worshiping angels, getting all puffed up in our flesh. He tells us in Galatians 1:8 that if anyone, including an angel preached another gospel that they shall be accursed. Jesus is high above any angel, and to put Him in that category would degrade His glory and majesty, because according to Deuteronomy 32:43, angels worship and serve Jesus, who is their God. Psalm 2:7 and 2 Samuel 7:14 both tell us that Jesus is the Son of God Psa 104:4 says Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire. Revelation 5:1-14 explains how Jesus is the object of angelic worship, not vice versa. They worship Him. They ask, who's worthy to open the scroll and loose its seals? They found no one in heaven or earth that was worthy, but the The Lamb that was slain (Jesus), was the ONLY one worthy. Psalm 110:1 says that Jesus sat down, having completed His work. Jesus Himself on the cross said, "it is finished". The angels don't "relax" before God. They either "stand" or "bow" before the Father, but the Son sits down, and He didn't just sit anywhere, He sits at the right hand of God the Father. He's not a subject, He's Sovereign. According to verse 14, the angels are ministering spirits for the saints...that's us, those who've received the free gift that Jesus paid the ultimate price for. Wow! What a concept! Thank You Papa God, for what You've done to show us Your love. Please open the eyes of those that don't see it, that they'll have revelation knowledge of who You are and come to repentance and salvation, in Jesus name, Amen

Angels are God's assistants to help us along our way to salvation...how comforting to think that not only do we have Jesus to watch over us, God, The Holy Spirit, but also angels - we are never alone.

Angels are our equal in serving a just and holy god. we are not to worship them or make them seem significant in any way but servants of the most high god. instead we are to make God seem holy and honorable, nothing else.
