I love the way my Papa God has me covered by giving me everything I need to please Him by living a godly life. He loved me so much that He was willing to be beaten as thru those stripes I am healed.
He was willing to let them put His naked beaten body on the cross because He knew that Sunday was coming where He would rise from the dead to purchase a place for me in heaven.
This gives me the power, thru His Holy Spirit, to escape the corruption of this world caused by evil desires.
Our default mode is evil desires. But as we plug into Him by spending time in His Word, that builds our faith... faith comes by hearing the Word of God...and without faith it's impossible to please God.
I don't read my bible to check off my list so I can 2please God. I read it so I can get my daily download of His will for my life every day.
Thank You, Jesus, for being the Vine so I can be the branch. As long as I stay attached to Your Vine I can do ALL things because You give me strength. But, just like when I cut a branch off of a tree, it soon withers and dies, I do the same thing because apart from You I can do NOTHING! ZILCH, NADA!

God made us in his image and to be like him. Then he gave his Son to take all our sin. Then he gave us the Bible, it is kind of like an 'open book' test. All the answers we need are written in the book given to us by our creator.

I have everything I need to live the godly life God has called me to live. Jesus made sure of that when He went to the cross and left me with the Holy Spirit. Not by anything I have or will do, but by the grace of God.
