This whole chapter shows us that we must trust and wait upon the Lord, even though His coming may seem to be taking forever, it will come. We must remember that whether we are still here or have passed into glory, we will receive His salvation if we have made that decision to receive His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. As I see it, time does not exist for God, so that a thousand years to us is like one day to the Lord. He will come and make the changes as He sees fit. I often think of it this way, that if He came back today, a lot of my family and friends would perish. This gives me at least some time o pray them into the kingdom, and where I am able, to present the gospel to them. Once again, Holy Spirit must get their attention, or they will not hear. Awaken the non-believers, Lord, and protect those who have made their commitment to Jesus.

To me this verse means that I should remain close to my GOD AND SAVIOR ,so that when the time comes , I will not be influenced by unbelievers and the ways of the WORLD .I have to deepen my relationship with my LORD daily ,so i will be ready when HE comes ...Maranatha xox
