Jesus Christ was made human for our sake, so that he might become merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for our sins. Because he was made human he was able to take on our sins to save us. He was made human and died for us according to God's will. He was merciful so that we could be forgiven for our sins and he was faithful to God on our behalf.

This Scripture always makes me think, Jesus was human in every way, and yet He never once sinned. Oh, to have that resolution to never ever sin so that He was perfect when He went to the cross for our sakes. Thank You, Lord Jesus, and I ask You to help me to be more like You in my walk through this life. Amen.

Jesus ... fully human and fully God. He knows us and understands us because He has experienced all that we have and will experience. As a child of God (follower of Jesus), we are saved and He has made atonement for all our sins and we will live with Him forever.
