Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered
Terry J.
Terry J. from Hinsdale, NY said:
Jesus chose to obey even though it meant He had to suffer greatly. Because Jesus obeyed perfectly, even while suffering for us, He can help us obey, no matter how hard obedience seems to be.

If Jesus, the Son, learned obedience though what He suffered, then I will learn through what I suffer. The suffering will create in me a humble heart. A heart that knows God, and knows that He knows whats best for me.

Derek N. from San Jose, CA said:
Obedience is learned not given. Sometimes we have to endure hardships and even sufferings for the kingdom of God, but it's not in vain because we obey God's command and He will see our hearts for him. Just as Jesus obeyed his Father's command, in which he then suffer torture and even death, but in the end God made him the eternal salvation for all who obey him. We too can imitate Jesus and show obedience to God, even to the point of suffering like he had.

Great points Derek. I used to live in downtown San Jose. My church was Cathedral of Faith. Since I'm new to Vallejo, I'm still spoiled by the "livestream" they broadcast every Sunday... just like I'm really there. Which church do you go to in San Jose?

We may not suffer to the degree Jesus did.But as Chrisians we may experience rejection verbally by sharing The Word with others. This one thing I know of The Word. I will share it, "The Light" into the darkness of this world.
