When God says to Isreal to return to him he already knows their thoughts their sins and their faults with the idols, yet he says to them return to me and you will be forgiven. He tells them that he will give them understanding and knowledge and that he will cure (forgive) them for their sins and mistakes previously made. He will lead them to Zion (our heavenly home).

The God we serve is a God of second chances, third chances and so on. Though we may lack faith in areas of our walk, which my lead to backsliding, He gives the opportunity to be redeemed.

The Lord is saying come back to me repent your sins and I will forgive you. Have faith and believe in me and you will be cured of your backsliding.

God warns us of our unfaithfulness. But he also corrects and gives us chances over and over again because he loves us and he deserves for us to be faithful. And he always stretches are hands to us backsliders who forget what he has done and why we are here. Were here for his purpose not are own. He is United to and for his children. He has always been there even when were not present to his own circumstances when he had been led to the cross because he know the power in heaven reigns because he is heaven. He has blessed our eyes to be widened and open. And our ears to hear and listen. He gives his all and doesn't deserves for his children to return void. Let's let us all come to his understanding and not are own.

There will come a day when all those who had once come to Jesus and had received the precious, priceless gifts of forgiveness and eternal life and then had turned away from Him will realize the error of their ways and come back to Him. When those who had turned away from God returns, like the son in the parable of the Prodigal Son, they will be forgiven and welcomed back into the family of the children of God, but that will only happen, I believe, if they realize the error of their ways and return be fore they pass on or before Jesus' returns.

Jeremiah 3 Please, (14) "Return, faithless people," declares the Lord, "For I am your husband. I will choose you--- one from a town and two from a clan--- and bring you to Zion. (19) "I Myself said, 'How gladly would I treat you like My children and give you a pleasant land, the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.' I thought you would call Me "Father" and not turn away from following Me. ---- For I can give you the Salvation that you are needing. (22) "Return, faithless people; (before it is too late for you.) I will cure you of backsliding." "Yes, we will come to you, for you are the Lord our God.-- Is what I want to hear you say, and I will forgive you and you will become My Children once again! For I AM and always will be the Lord God Almighty who accepts all who comes to Me and repents of their sins! Then you too will join Me in the Heavens on the Judgment Day forever more! I love you all!
