Judges 8:35
They also failed to show any loyalty to the family of Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) in spite of all the good things he had done for them.

As human beings, in times of trouble we whine, cry, and want to be delivered from our sins. We cry out, "Oh Lord, save me from myself. I am sorry for getting myself into this situation because of my sin." Then when God does have mercy on us and saves us, we quickly forget where we were at and sometimes go back to the situation again. IN our comfort we forget what got us into that situation in the first place and continue to go there. I am so thankful that God has so much mercy and is slow to Anger. For we are fallen and incapable of not going back to our sinful ways from time to time.

It is amazing how people never seem to learn, but no matter how many times they see the hand of the Lord at work, turn away from God who protected and prospered them. It has now happened in North America, where God was honored in our schools and the day started with prayer. Now, it is an offense to even pray or mention God in our schools. I expect the judgment of God is about to be witnessed, unless there is a very prompting to turn back to the only true God, through Jesus Christ. Lord, inspire Your people to turn back to You, that You may spare our continent. Amen

Many times people reach out to others.....friends, family to help them. But forget soon afterwards what help was given and turn away......this is heartbreaking.

Amen, and many of our North American continent have turned their backs on God who prospered us. Blessings, Diana.
