Nehemiah 3:15
The Fountain Gate was repaired by Shallun son of Kol-Hozeh, ruler of the district of Mizpah. He rebuilt it, roofing it over and putting its doors and bolts and bars in place. He also repaired the wall of the Pool of Siloam, by the King's Garden, as far as the steps going down from the City of David.

The people of Israel gathered together to rebuild the wall and the gates for Jerusalem. They each contributed their part in the rebuilding process. I imagine the building of the wall as being like the building of the house of God, piece by piece. Each person is a brick in the house of God and together with the unison and bond in Christ, we will be able to build one big church.
