Psalms 36:7
How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

We can not pay any amount of money so God will love us any more than he already does. God's love priceless and never fails. We can take shelter in the shadow of his wings. Lord, thank you for your unfailing love and the shelter you provide to us.

Many people are searching for love and some even think that love can be bought. If you want a picture of what real love looks like look no further than the cross of Jesus Christ. For it was there where God demonstrated His love for us even while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). Thanks to Jesus we can take refuge in the shadow of His wings, which speaks of the protection of God and His closeness. "Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so" How priceless is that!

What a beautiful word-picture, "take refuge in the shadow of Your wings". I take great comfort in the fact that I can shelter myself under the protection of the God of the universe, whom i have a personal, intimate relationship with. The first evangelist to China, Hudson Taylor, said, "It does not matter how great the pressure is. What really matters is where the pressure lies -- whether it comes between you and God, or whether it presses you nearer His heart." That being said, if I'm already tucked under God's wing, then certainly when pressure comes, I am properly placed to be pressed nearer to His heart, rather than away.

To have God's love it don't cost us anything. And because of his great love for us he is a place of protection for us.
