We can be confident of this, the Lord reigns! This truth should calm our hearts no matter what we may be facing. Our lives may seem out of control at times, but God is still on His throne. He is always at work working out His plan and purposes. Nothing can separate us from His love. No one can pluck us out of His hand. Thank You, Lord for Your tender mercies toward me. Help me to trust You no matter what I'm facing knowing that You are on Your throne!

In a world filled with turmoil it's a comfort to know that our God reigns! There is nothing that happens that catches Him off guard. We live in a sin cursed world but God is able to take even the worst situations and bring good out of them. Let the earth be glad. Let the distant shores rejoice - Our God reigns! The good news for believers is there is a day coming when sin will be no more and we will be with Jesus for all eternity!
