The first portion of this verse is so obvious today as Israel is surrounded by their enemies, and yet, none have been able to destroy her due to God's hand of protection upon His chosen nation. Those who promote replacement theology saying the church has replaced Israel, need to rethink their thoughts. The second portion of the verse has also been seen, as missionaries are now working all over planet earth to bring the truth of His word to the nations and now with the Internet, radio and television the gospel is available nearly everywhere. Thank You, Lord, for Your hand of protection upon Your chosen people, the apple of Your eye, and the spreading of Your salvation message to all the world. Amen

We have seen salvation in our own lives (those who have believed on Christ Jesus) and His love and faithfulness to Israel is evident and I believe will be made more so (for the true God can not lie)

Yes, all the nations have seen the salvation of the Lord, our God but not all have received it, or, they have received it and then turned away to their own ways. Come, Holy Spirit, and awaken the nations that Your salvation will once again be spread through every nation. It's too big for us alone, Lord, without You, Holy Spirit, so we ask You to awaken and soften the hearts, open the spiritual ears of the people that they may hear. Equip and anoint us, Holy Spirit, that we may be Your voice in our communities and where ever we go. Amen

Because God has kept His promises to Israel all throughout time, we can rest assured that He'll continue to keep His promises to not only them, but to the rest of the world. Satan hates everything God holds dear. That's why he wants to destroy them and the church. Satan is a legalist, he has a legal right to be here because our great great great...grandparents gave it to him in the garden. It sux, but that's just the way it is. That's why we hafta be soooooooo careful to bring EVERY thought captive to the obedience of Christ. If Satan can get our thoughts, our acts will soon follow. As a man thinks in his heart so is he. If God were to not keep 1 single promise to Israel, that would give Satan a legal right to say, "see, I told you so, God's not ALL omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. You can't trust Him after all". By the same token, if we have an area of our life that's not completely surrendered to God, that gives Satan a legal right to send his minions in and oppress us and, as Jesus said, bring 7 more who are even more wicked than himself with him and we'll be worse off than we were in the first place. Papa God, please put a stop sign in front of my ears, eyes, thoughts and mouth that only YOUR info will enter and exit. Fill me fresh with Your Holy Spirit because I can't do this in my own strength, but when I'm weak, You're strong and I can take that and all the rest of Your promises to the bank. Papa, please remind me to deposit Your Word into that account every day, so that I'll never have insufficient funds, and when that strong man comes knockin my house won't be swept, in order and empty, but filled to make withdrawals as needed. THAT account is everlasting and it never has to run insufficient funds. But I'm the one who has to make the deposits and You're the One who pays interest in spades.
