Revelation 5:8
And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people.

I finf it amazing that God has all our prayers collected in golden incense bowls that He He just keeps. I have my daily prayer list that seems to get longer and longer because most people are like there lepers that don't bother to come back eith praise reports of how God answered the prayers I prayed for them. I do tend to be more of a getter done prayer any more because it believe God heard me the first time. Then I give the person the advice to just keep thanking Him for the answer. Otherwise it becomes a liturgy ans a burden for me. Then it becomes the vain repetion Jesus tells us not to pray. Papa God, I want more to hear from You rather than rattling off a list every day. Because Your mercies are new every morning.

I believe an important portion of this verse is "they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people." To me this shows that God retains the prayers of the saints "believers in Christ" and He never forgets about the prayers we pray, and they are pleasing to Him. Incense indicates a pleasing aroma, meaning that God hears and treasures the prayers of those who trust in Him. Lord, thank You for hearing and treasuring our prayers, and I ask that You would especially answer those prayers that are asking for Your Spirit to awaken the hearts of those who have yet to make commitments to You, through Jesus Christ Your Son. Amen

You nailed it brother, I can only add Psalm 141:2 May my prayer be set before you like incense; may my lifting up my hands be like the evening sacrifice. The Prayers of The People Amen and Amen. Blessings on your group of godly men, as we become the Church in the world, bringing people to Christ.
