It is very important that we support our ministry leaders first and foremost in prayer. The enemy attacks them and their families knowing when the " head" falls many fall with them.

While individuals may be called for specific ministries, there is a general call/ work for allChrist followers, namely Loving our neighbours as ourselves and also to go into all the world and preach the gospel.

Today many laws and decisions are being made by our legal and political systems based on what is
popular with the people but which are contrary to God's laws. These are resulting in the persecution and even death of Christ followers. Like the early church, we the church of today MUST ernestly pray.

I believe one of the reasons we the church is not as influential we in the world as we should be is because we no longer have great fear and respect for the Almighty God that we serve. This has led to us being too much like the world for them to see a difference. Lord help me to be more like you and to let my light shine before men so they may glorify my Father in heaven.
