Psalms 97:10
Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Priscilla R.
Priscilla R. from Pawling, NY said:
This Psalm talks about the Power of this Mighty God. There is no one or nothing more powerful than my God. He is the "Great I Am"! He taught us Love through His living word spoken by His Son and through the life that was not taken...but given by His Son for my evilness. I am Blessed to be delivered from the hand of the wicked, and delivered to the embracing arms of my Father. A Father who promised me that He would no longer remember my sins or the iniquities of my life! There is reason always for Praising and Honoring our God. He should be.

Since my comment will not post, and I chose the same verse as you, Priscilla, I will take the liberty of posting it here under yours. God bless you all. There is so much evil in our world today. We need to be witnesses for Christ by living a life of righteousness. It is sad that even divorce in the church is as frequent as in the world which shows me that the church needs a shaking and start to become more than a religious business. I pray, Holy Spirit, You will bring a transformation of the church, as it's too big for us to bring about on our own. Amen. I just finished listening to Anne Graham Lotz's National Day of Prayer message from this 2014 spring and then the message by Allen Hood, president of International House of Prayer. Both were tremendous warnings to the church and our nations. Anne Graham Lotz – National Day of Prayer Message 2014: http://bit.ly/1pBnjj8 and SOUNDING THE ALARM – ALLEN HOOD: http://bit.ly/1z4LKaJ

Thank you Lloyd for sharing this. You are right. More and more I hear members of my Church family repeating gossip, showing signs of prejudice towards other members and then dismissing their actions by saying " I know that's not being a good Christian..but! There is no "but"!!!!! As the righteousness of God..it is our duty to represent Him in all of our ways. Not look for easy excuses to continue repeating those things that we have been forgiven for! We all miss the mark. Everyday...but we have to pray...we have to look towards our Father through out the day...we have to remember who we are in Christ...we have to allow ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit. That is the Spirit of our Lord. To never again become comfortable in those things that our Lord has delivered us from. We might be the only reflection of Christ Jesus that some people will ever see. Love you guys. God Bless you all. I just love hearing how much God's love has transformed your thoughts and your lives. It's exciting to hear you share.

Psalms 96:13
Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes,
he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples in his faithfulness.

Celebration is all over this Psalm. Rejoicing, and celebrating all that is our Lord...All He is in our lives, all that He is to everything that lives and breathes on this earth. With a daily reminder, that life does not end here, but continues in His Kingdom for eternity. They rejoice in the heavens and they rejoice in this world...we who are the Righteousness of God. Praise Him...Honor Him...Glorify His Name! Wow! What an uplifting Psalm.

Psalms 94:12
Blessed is the one you discipline, Lord,
the one you teach from your law;
Priscilla R.
Priscilla R. from Pawling, NY said:
Blessed are we indeed...those of us who are disciplined. As followers of Christ Jesus, we miss the mark on a regular bases, and our forgiveness is assured...but with repentance, trust, and discipline through the guidance of the Holy Spirit...our walk through this life far exceeds the life of this world. Where does the world receive it's forgiveness...where does it find it's peace...where does it find hope, and where does it find it's strength !!!!!!! There is nothing we can hide from our Abba...He hears all, knows all. But as His children we are protected from the wickedness of this world. He provides for each and every one of us all that we need to get through all that this world throws at us. Our Abba is our Hope..our Peace..our Joy..our Love..our Strength and our Future. No matter how dark this world gets He sent us His Son to give us and teach us how to find that light. He will never leave us, because we are loved. Isn't He Awesome.

Psalms 93:4
Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
mightier than the breakers of the sea—
the Lord on high is mighty.
Priscilla R.
Priscilla R. from Pawling, NY said:
I had to read several translations to understand what the message was. My understanding is that the thunder of the great waters, the powerful breakers of the sea...lifting their voices. It is our World in turmoil. Always behaving as if regardless of what is happening around us...the World is in control. Established, firm and secure. The truth is that the only one who is Established, firm and secure is our Lord. For He was established before the earth was created. He was the Word and the Word was "with" God. His strength is mightier than any man, any Nation, any world! So in Loving our Lord, and living for Him...we can be assured that we can trust in Him and depend on Him to get us through what ever the World throws at us. We are not of this World, we just live here for now. I would love to hear other interpretations.

Think you pretty well got it Priscilla. It's hard for the human mind to grasp His magnitude but as long as we know and believe that He is all powerful, all knowing and ever existent and especially all loving. Oh, to be able to love with His magnitude of love.

Psalms 92:4
For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord;
I sing for joy at what your hands have done.
Priscilla R.
Priscilla R. from Pawling, NY said:
Each and every day I see how God works in my life. From the smallest tasks to the largest...His name is always on my lips and my mind. I praise Him and thank him, because it is He who gets me thru my day. At the end of a long and tiring day, I see my rest, and the comfort of my bed...as yet another blessing that He has bestowed on me before I close my eyes. The foolish and the evil, will never be able to see His work...because their lives are based on them and not Him. They lean on their own understanding not His, they rely on their own works and not His,their victories are theirs and not His! I don't know how I did it for so long...I'm just happy that I never have to live this life alone, and that I never have to live it just for me. I live because He lives! I praise Him, Honor Him, and Glorify His Name.

Psalms 89:27
And I will appoint him to be my firstborn,
the most exalted of the kings of the earth.
Priscilla R.
Priscilla R. from Pawling, NY said:
In the "Old" when you were chosen by God, if you were faithful to Him and only His ways, He would love and protect you , and give you all that you needed to be powerful, great, and prosperous. Treat you as His own child. But never take it upon your self to think that you needed God no more. Because if you disobeyed Him, and rejected Him, His response could mean doom to your life.

Amen Donna. I take a look at my Old Life, and I see so clearly how I failed miserably...but I've been born again by my Savior, my King...and life has never been fuller, joyful, peaceful and courageous! My life is so Blessed, each and every day. What a privalege to not have to take this journey alone. My God is my Abba.
