These are the men David put in charge of the music in the house of the Lord after the ark came to rest there.

Music is important to the Lord. Music is to be properly organized and requires leaders. It is the pastor's responsibility to appoint men to the task who will be faithful to the 'regulations laid down for them' vs.32.

David surely had a great staff of musicians. Would have been great to hear their worship music.

It is interesting that David put all these men in charge of music. I think in would be cool if some how I could be transported back in time, I wonder what sort of instruments they used? I also wonder if when they sang if they may have had different parts, like tenner or bass? And the fact that they were put in charge of the music in the house of the Lord. I would think that they would have songs to worship and glorify the LORD of LORDS and the KING of KINGS.

Psalm 150 lists several instruments that they used at that time. A good commentary on Psalm 150 might explain what those instruments were exactly and how they worked.

Since David was such an accomplished musician (King Saul had him come play for him to assuage the demonic spirit that tormented him) I guess David knew the importance of talented musicians in worship.

I like that I had forgotten that David played a harp for Saul. I have a feeling that many of those songs he learned to play at night when he was out tending his sheep.
