For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

Key words "we have a building from God,(a Hope) an Eternal House in Heaven, our eagerly awaited Hope of Eternal Life, our Hope is now focused on Our Lord Jesus Christ. There are many verses in Scripture of our Eternal Home I like this one. Same Chapter here 2 Corinthians 5: 8 Yes we are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at Home with the Lord.

Amen Peter. It's hard to even imagine what our heavenly home will be like, even with the reports of those who have been there and returned. Most didn't even want to return to their earthly life but the Lord had a purpose. Stay warm and secure in His loving arms Peter. :-)

to me this means that our body is the earthly tent,that our soul lives in,and when we die that tent or body will no longer be ,and we will put on another glorious eternal body
