Key Phrase "Look up at the sky and count the stars-if indeed you can count them." But we know from the previous chapters that Abram couldn't count the dust on the earth that God had pointed out in making a similar promise Genesis 13: 16. But again God assures/promises once more that his offspring will be numerous and uncountable. "So shall your offspring be."
