Genesis 5.. gives an account of of Adam family and tree branches, they all lived long lives and followed god . They where blessed with many kids and lived long lives but didnt have children until later in life. This is interesting to me as a new christian and will continue to get to know the stories of the bible

O Lord, the True and Living God, you have infused so much of your life force into us. Through many generations your river of life flows with blessings from the Master's touch. Now, heavenly Father, I pray for you to help become more true to your model of "mankind." Bless us to be men, people of kindness from the inside out. This chapter answers my previous question about where Cain's wife came from even though it is not mentioned that there were other daughters born or created obviously they were. The account of the family tree is the same as today the family history follows the male and sometimes does not mention or reference the females.
