It is important to keep the faith because without it we are lost and damned. God is mighty and miraculous and Christ is the light and truth and the way. Thank you Father and thank you Jesus.

If we hope then we have faith. Faith is believing in something even though we do not see it. Faith is believing in Jesus Christ and the promises He has made to us. Faith.....it is what gets me through every day.

another compelling simple verse. Another translation says: "What is faith? It is the confident assurance thta what we hope for is going to happen". I bought a small book called "praying for the impossible". It speaks of how to "petition" God by prayer, petition and supplication. This has not only increased my faith, but I have a peace - an assurance of knowing and seeing changes everyday as God conitnues to work in answering my prayers, increasing my faith. I used to be impatient, but I have learned to ender and to truely let go and let God. In his time, I have assurance that my prayers will be answered.

Actually, the 2 words in several of these verses that cling to my heart is " 'By faith'......". Faith is what keeps me going from day to day because faith is the only sure way to please God. I trust His word and stand on his promises because every day He provides brand new mercies. It is awesome how He rewards us for our faith in Him --just keep reading His word and asking Him for guidance and at the end of the day, He will give us rest in Him. PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!!

It is awesome that He rewards us for our faith when He is the One who gives us our faith and He is the One who perfects our faith, (Heb. 12:2) and then He rewards us for it as though we have done some great thing, when in fact all praise, all glory and all honor belong fully to Him. YES! :) PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!!

Faith is a choice we each have to make.It is hard sometimes to trust God when He is telling us to do something that absolutely terrifies us ,but you just have to decide to take a step of faith and know that God is there to help you through it.That first step is the hardest and it is what keeps many people from the blessings God has for them. Even if you are trembling, your heart is racing, and you feel like passing out just do it afraid and trust God.Your feelings lie to you ,you will never feel like doing something that is uncomfortable ,you have to choose to it's why it is called faith.
