I thank you Jesus for saving me and interceding for me, I thank you for being my High Priest and my Lord and Savior. I praise your name because you gave your life for me and your name shines with glory, grace and mercy. I thank you Jesus for allowing me to lean on you, whenever I want too. I lean on you during the good days and the bad days, you are my comforter, my healer, my Savior and I can call you anytime or anywhere. I love you for who you are and I praise your name forever.

This chapter, and particularly this verse, shows us that Jesus is not like an earthly king or lord who eventually passes away and is replaced by another. But Jesus is Lord of all and our High Priest, if we will submit and commit ourselves to Him. Lord, help me to submit and commit to follow Your commands that You have given us in Your holy word, the Bible, and increasingly apply them to my life. Amen

Another verse of scripture that guarantees our salvation through Jesus the Christ. Hallelujah! I know Jesus as my Savior and Lord.

Jesus is the only one able to save completely,because He alone is God. Many believe Melchizedek was Jesus. Jewish law said no one could be king and priest. Jesus and Melchizedek were both king and priest. Any thoughts on this? Thank you Jesus, whether or not You were Melchizedek, I know you are God.

This is one among countless scriptures that gives me assurance that Jesus saves us completely, once and forever when we put our faith in Him. Showing me it has nothing to do with what we do or don't do, other than trusting fully in Him to save us. Not meaning we can continue in sin (God forbid), because we are His children through faith in Christ and God will chastise us when we sin. Besides that, when we realize all that He has done and is doing for us, we will want to live a life that is pleasing to Him. Also, not only does He save us completely (to the uttermost), but Jesus always intercedes for us before the Father. He truly deserves all honor, all glory, and all praise. Blessed be His Holy Name.

I have heard some Pastors who say Melchizedek was really Jesus others disagree. They say Jewish law forbid a man to be king and priest. Jesus and Melchizedek were both king and priest. Any ideas?

How can one not accept His offer of Love, grace and mercy? We stay loyal and committed to those who stick up and watch out for us here on earth but yet choose to reject Jesus when he did more than anyone else can or will ever do for us!
