Job 4:8
As I have observed, those who plow evil
and those who sow trouble reap it.

It is not Gods will to punish for evil but to forgive through the finished work of Christ at the cross. Job was not being punished for wrong but being uplifted for his right doing. It is hard to wrap our minds around the suffering he is enduring not because of anything he did but because God knows he can count on him. It is true the more effort you put into things the more results you can expect but often the concept is mistaken for reward or punishment.

This goes with Galatians 6:7 which states "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." Whatever you do, it will surely come back to you. We must always be careful of the things we do and say because it come back on us.
