This warning is to the priests. We've seen the damage done by priests and others, who have strayed from the gospel, over the course of time. We've seen corruption in church, in government, in society. We've seed the development of religions that steer people away from the only true Salvation that is in Christ Jesus. Cursed is he who puts his trust in man. Even mankind with the best intentions will let us down as we are all fallible. Only God has stood the test of time.

Gods Instructions for His priest, (ministers/pastors) The Church today is successful if they follow the instructions given by God. Many churches don't follow or they compromise the instructions God lays out. And ministries fail because they don't honor His name. Christ is the Lord of Hosts, and we as the Church must the practice the ministry that God has laid out for us, and Honor His name.

So true, Peter. I have witnessed, and actually grew up in a denomination that for the most part was just a religious business, and never gave an invitation to receive Christ. Many years later, I attended a church that preached the true gospel and had alter calls to receive Christ and praise God, I received. However, there is always the odd time that a preacher is truly born again in that denomination, and does preach the salvation message. My wife was born-again in one of those rare ones but the pastor was cast out after only a couple of months of preaching the salvation message. There are more than one such denominations and I pray that there will be an awakening for such. As always, be blessed and encouraged of the Lord, brother Peter.
