I like this last line of this verse "and from you receive instruction". If only we could concentrate on that thought and work it into our lives on a daily basis instead of trying to field the right answers from our own desires and wishes. We are to receive instruction from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for he is the ultimate teacher, our guidance counselor, our mentor and our professor. At his feet we bow as we enter the classroom each and every day....the Bible is our textbook. Praise God!

When we complain and desire more than what God intended us to have, we tend to take it out on our superiors and our subordinates to a point that obstacles and larger challenges than we would normally endure confront us making our lives difficult. God places venomous snakes before the people because of their sins against their superiors and against God. May we realize that God has provided us what we need in this life to live happily and at peace with each other. May the venomous snakes slither away as we come back to God.

This entire chapter deals with a sacrifice and what is to be presented to the Lord.....kind of puts me in the mindset of what we are to offer daily before the Lord....our completeness... everything that we have we are to present before the Lord....put our lives and our minds in his hands and he will meet us and speak to us. At times in our daily struggles, we fail to realize that....that he is there for us when we open up to him and bring our emotions, our thoughts and our very souls placing them at the entrance to the tent that encompasses our connection to him.....God Bless!!

Maybe we all need this breastpiece for making decisions because life if full of decision making and choices....and to have the knowledge that is needed to make that right decision, we need that breastpiece to ward off the choices that are not of the nature that God intended us to choose. Our skilled hands of various talents work together to provide the necessary guidance that not only we need, but guiding others as well.....God Bless all of you!

We have to stop and think before we react and the brothers did not do that before they acted on what they thought was the right thing to do with Joseph. Then they come to their senses and realize that what they did was not right and feared the consequences should Joseph take action against them. We all have choices to make in this life and we often act before we really think it out...contemplating on the results of what we are about to do...how it will affect the lives of others...how it will affect relationships within a family......stop and think before you put your thoughts into motion....God knows our thoughts.....we need to realize that.....God bless all of you.

May we live our lives in such a manner that there is no question as to where our names are written....may we be examples to others and lead, guide and direct them into the pages of the Book of Life....our lives should be stamped with approval from our Lord and Savior....good and faithful servants......Praise God!

Many times our Lord Jesus Christ used these words in the gospels during his teachings and in his parables, but yet we sometimes close our ears and only hear what we want to hear....while missing sometimes the most vital message that lays within his teachings...may our ears always stay open and unblocked...may we listen for his voice...and may we follow his direction and guidance each and every day....Whoever has ears, let them hear.....God Bless...

As we look in the mirror each day and prepare ourselves for the world and what it will present to us, do we stop to examine and focus on the "seal of God on our foreheads"...how we belong to God and that we follow Jesus Christ in the path of righteousness? Do we live our lives in the manner that would display that seal to others.....may the seal of God be centered in our foreheads and may it be a stamp of the lives that we live....Thank you Jesus for opening my world up and allowing that seal to be firmly affixed....God Bless.....

Verse 1, verse 3, verse 5 and verse 7 all include this word "Come!" in each proclamation....Jesus himself said "Come, follow me" and yet we often find ourselves straying off the path to which he is asking us to follow....but yet he asks again, and again to rightly position ourselves in the light of his glory....to focus our eyes in his direction and not off into a distant future, but now.....the words are say "Come".... and our desire and our guidance is placed into his hands.... "Come" is a simple word, but brings with it so much power and happiness when we do decide to do just that.

Jesus has come in full force with the Kingdom of God to fill our hearts and ignite the passion that is within each and everyone of us if only we will recognize it and grasp hold of that knowledge that we are citizens of the Kingdom of God! God Bless you all!
