Those who have rejected Christ will suffer great torment during this period before Christ's return. Hopefully during this time they will realize their need of Christ in their lives and repent. Verse 6 tells us that those people will seek death but will be denied it. Lord, help Your believers, by the help of Holy Spirit, to reach multitudes of people before that time of torment. Amen

Key phrase for this verse I believe/ words "Harm, only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads" Not a mark that you can see, but a mark on the forehead of those who believe in the word of God, their minds are controlled by the word and wisdom of Gods word. Ezekiel 9: 3-4 Now the glory of the God of Israel went up above the cherubim, where it had been, and moved to the threshold of the Temple. Then the Lord called to the man clothed in linen who had the writing kit at his side. And said to him, Go through out the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on their foreheads of those who who grieve and lament over all the Detestable things done in it. These are believers who remained Faithful to Gods word,who were marked and set apart." And those that reject the word of God are controlled by the worldly system.

As we look in the mirror each day and prepare ourselves for the world and what it will present to us, do we stop to examine and focus on the "seal of God on our foreheads"...how we belong to God and that we follow Jesus Christ in the path of righteousness? Do we live our lives in the manner that would display that seal to others.....may the seal of God be centered in our foreheads and may it be a stamp of the lives that we live....Thank you Jesus for opening my world up and allowing that seal to be firmly affixed....God Bless.....
