Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I gave up the life I was living because Jesus was living in me. This is not to say that I no longer sin but that I am saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lori M. from Waterloo, IA said:
Amen. Very nicely said.

Galatians 1:4
who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
This serves to remind us that Jesus Christ gave his life or our sins and serves to rescue us from evil. Jesus could not come any sooner for me so as to destroy the evil ones among us.

2 Corinthians 13:11
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
If only our churches of today would work together peacefully and encourage one another, we could accomplish most anything especially our witness to others.

2 Corinthians 12:10
That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
This verse reminds me of the song, Just a Closer Walk With Thee, for the first line says, "i am weak but thou art strong", This tells me that Jesus is my strength as I walk thru this life.

2 Corinthians 11:30
If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.
Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
In this verse, I get that we should not boast of prideful things but rather in things where we are lacking.

2 Corinthians 10:4
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
While guns and bombs and other types of deadly objects can demolish strongholds however our tongues can also be a weapon. Things we say reflect on what is in our hearts. We need to think before we open our mouths and speak. We can destroy someones reputation, confidence or life. For example, negative things that kids say can cause a young person to commit suicide or worse yet go after those who have hurt them and detroy their lives with guns or other weapons.

Donna N. from Orlando, FL said:
Yes, Vickie, and it all begins with a thought that comes from the unseen kingdom. That's why we're supposed to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, which is the Word aka bible, God bless.

1 Corinthians 10:32
Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God—
Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
Whatever you do in this life, do not cause anyone to stumble irregardless of race, nationality, choice of religion, appearance or life style, You may not agree with their choices however you have to face God with your own choices not theirs. While you may want everyone to be a Christian, the other person may disagree with you or your choice.

2 Corinthians 9:6
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
If you sow sparingly you will also reap sparingly. In due time we do not have to show or tell others what we have done or given. Only God needs to know. An example doesn't necessarily have to be money. It could be time spent with shut-ins, people recovering from surgery or sickness, people that are grieving or people that are down on their luck and dependent on food banks and agencies that feed the hungry. This could be a service to anyone in any walk of life not necessarily to people that we know, We should never brag about what we have done to help someone. That doesn't look good in the eyes of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 8:21
For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.

Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
It just like the current as well as the past presidential races, they promise change and do not follow thru with the promises they made. That is not taking pains in doing the right thing in the eyes of the Lord as well as in the eyes of man. That causes us to lose confidence in what they say they will do and change.
Donna N.
Donna N. from Orlando, FL said:
Yes, Vickie, hope and change ends up hopless change, didn't it? Each time the selection is grimmer less of 2 evils. We're seeing prophecy unfold before our eyes ás God is using the globalists to create the New World Order which will be headed up by the anti Christ. God bless

2 Corinthians 7:10
Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
Vickie S.
Vickie S. from Conway, SC said:
If we are truly sorry for our sins and ask God for forgiveness and forgive ourselves, He will forgive and that will lead to true salvation. If we do ask for forgiveness, we are doomed to death.
