Galatians 5:25
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
If we walk in the spirit we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh... They are at war with each other, if we don't keep a watch one will be stronger than the other. We have to kill the flesh daily or it will over power us. It want's it's way, but we have to bring it under submission, and stand up to it and Not let it control our lives. It's not easy saying No, but in the long run will be glad we did. By no means will we inherit the kingdom of God doing whatever pleases the flesh, but by walking totally in the spirit, and doing those things that are pleasing to the spirit man.

Galatians 4:7
So you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
We are now clean after being saved, and filled with his spirit through his blood that cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We are no longer a slave to sin, and we no longer belong to the devil, and the world. Everything God has becomes our's because we are a joint heir with him. We are now God's child we have been snatched out of the devils darkness into the God's light.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
God doesn't see us as male or female locked up or free even though he knows what we are, and exactly where were at. He see's us all the same he's has no respect of a person. He loves us all the same. What he'll do for me he will do for anyone. If we are saved and filled with the spirit of God we are in one with him, and on our way to heaven. I think this verse explains everything that needs to be said.

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
If were going to serve Christ this is a daily process to kill the flesh... If we walk in the spirit we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The old man is dead, and the new man (Jesus Christ) is alive and lives inside of us. The old way of life is crucified and now we step into a relationship by faith that God lives inside of us and that do what is pleasing to him.

Galatians 1:10
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
It's so easy to get caught up in trying to please people and not God... If we don't watch ourselves will be man pleasers , and not God pleasers . We don't need peoples approval all we need is God's approval. Sure were suppose to love one another, and show hospitality to each other. This life is all about God and serving him, and winning the lost, and how we do it is through service to one another, by letting our light shine through our character, and lifestyle to represent him then we will be true ambassadors for Christ.

2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?
Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
The only thing that holds us up through trails, and tribulations is faith. God will put us through the test to really see what were made out of, and truly see if we are trusting in him and not in ourselves, and id were really trusting in him we can stand through any adversity. If we put our faith in materialism, and in people we will defintely fail the test.

2 Corinthians 12:10
That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
There are a lot of sacrifices we endure for being a Christian... It's Not a matter of if we will go through these persecution's, slanders, and all other kinds of mistreatment. It's a matter of when we will endure this for the sake of Christianity. We can count it all joy, because we have a home that awaits us in heaven. We will be blessed here on earth, as well as in heaven. God will not put no more on us than we can bare he know's our strengths and weakness. God let's us go through things to take us to the next level. Sometimes the way we are treated by people, and what we go through in life is a set up for our success, victory, strength, and prosperity. What comes form him is so much more than what we could ever do for ourselves.

2 Corinthians 10:17
But, "Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord."
Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
Let what we do be unto the lord, and not to be seen of men... If were going to boast let's give all the glory and honor to God, and not to man. It is God that does the works through us. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't be here anyway. He's the giver and taker of life this life is all about him anyway. His spirit dwells inside of us teaching us, guiding us, and comforting us . If it wasn't for him where would any of us be? Lost.

2 Corinthians 9:7
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
Were suppose to give from the heart, and not give complaining or just to be recognized... God know's what's in our hearts anyway. What's in your heart do you give grudging or cheerful? We think we can fool God but were dead wrong. He knew what we were going to do 2000 years ago when he was dying on the cross. He knows the ending from the beginning. Let's love giving to one another and be cheerful about doing so, and be an example of God's goodness.

2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Donna S.
Donna S. from Mc Rae, GA said:
I love this scripture... God became poor so that we could become rich. He said in his word that he makes us rich and he adds no sorrow to it. I just love that because he want's to bless us, if we delight ourselves in him he will give us the desires of our heart. Wow... What such a loving God. He really want's to have a real relationship with us, and he desires to have a real conversation with us just as if he is here in the flesh. It's good to know that we have a real friend that will never leave us or forsake us, and that we can go to him for anything no matter how big or small. All we are is one prayer away.
