1 Corinthians 4:4
My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.

It matters not how man judges me. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. The Lord knows my heart and motives and is the only one who will judge me in the end.

That sure makes me consider, what I do, think and say. Even when I think I'm innocent, which at times I know I'm not, He knows the whole truth. God bless.

I know I am naturally scum at heart but Christ who died for me, and raised again to life gives me grace that is everlasting and truly the best and most worthwhile gift I ever received. I would not want to be one of those that pridefully stands before the thrown of God with arrogence on judgement day, but unfortunatly I know people that plan on doing just that. About a year ago I was in my prayer time and I was trying the understand God's wrath, because God for me is kind, loving, and the best most awsome Father I could ever have, I had a hard time understanding that he is also just and his wrath. So in my prayer time I asked God to show me a glimpse of what it feels like to be in his wrath (I know sounds stupid right?) well he did just that. For 5 secords (if that) this incredible feeling of terror (not fear but worse terror) came over me and then it was gone, be careful what you ask for, God may just give it to you.

All I can say is wow! I wonder if we could convince unbelievers to pray the same prayer? If so, just think how awesome the results would probaby be...REVIVAL

This indicates to me that what we think of ourselves may not be the same as how God sees us. After all, our thoughts are not His thoughts. This is why we must try our very best to live only by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Be sure that we will make mistakes. But we must try our best to live a life that is pleasing to God.

Oh so true, Henry. If I could be like Paul, let alone like Christ. I have a long way to go to even come close to Paul. Praise God for His grace and mercy as we make our attempt.
